Outcomes and Benefits:

When does OPS like to meet the amputee?
We would love to meet with the amputee for a pre-amputation consultation, which is provided free of charge. This consultation allows us to help the amputee prepare mentally and physically for this new journey. We can also pair the amputee with a support partner—someone close in age who has successfully navigated this journey.
Immediately post-operation, we will visit with a Welcome Package that introduces your patient care manager along with the New Amputee package. This package will educate the amputee, caregiver, family, or other members on what to expect. We will be happy to answer all questions regarding the prosthetic process. If you have any questions, please contact our nearest office.
